Kingsgate Native He really has proved to be some superstar. He was probably a little unlucky at Ascot and Goodwood, but then he performed when it really mattered, in the Nunthorpe – becoming the first maiden and the first two-year-old since Lyric Fantasy to win the race. At £20,000 he now looks a bargain!
He’ll possibly run in the Abbaye if the ground is okay; if not he may not be seen till Royal Ascot next year. He is a real power horse, and I think there’s a lot more improvement to come next year, so the other sprinters had better watch out!
